Dr. Angelica Pesarini, Assistant Professor in and Race and Cultural Studies/ Race and Diaspora at the University of Toronto, has delivered lectures in Prof. Hom's Ital 139CX on "Italian Colonialism," and Prof. Fogu's Ital 189X on "Mediterranean History of Italy." Dr. Pesarini is among the co-funders of the Black Mediterranean collective and in both classes she has talked about her research on descendents of Italy's African colonies in today's Italy.
