On April 29, 2022, the UCSB Italian and German programs met at the Rec Center , for their third, annual soccer game.  The event was organized by the UCSB Italian Club, in collaboration with Italian and German faculty. The event was a true success, with more than 50 students in attendance.  The two teams, constituted of students enrolled in Italian and German courses, played a very fair game, with impressive performances on both sides.  The German team dominated the first half, closing with a score of 5-2.  In the second half the Italian team found its groove, bringing home a stunning win of 9-5.  All students attending had great fun, whether playing or cheering on a beautiful, sunny afternoon.  We can’t wait until next year’s game!
