Bio:
Álvaro Luna received his B.A. in Linguistics and French from the University of California, Los Angeles and an M.A. in French and Francophone Studies from the California State University, Long Beach. His research interests focus on the intersections of sexuality, race and migration in contemporary French and North American literatures and how literature, media and language can contrast and subvert social marginalization. He has experience teaching French courses using the innovative Romance Language Intercommunicative method.
