Camilla M.G. Fiorina has been a faculty member since 2002 and teaches both lower and upper division language courses. She received her M.A. in Italian Literature with an emphasis on Medieval Studies from Università Cattolica di Milano, Italy. Prior to joining UCSB, she worked in the editorial staff of the Italian publisher Rizzoli, focusing on Italian contemporary fiction. She is also a certified journalist and has published articles in Italian newspapers and magazines.
Her academic interests primarily include language teaching methodology and contemporary Italian literature. She is co-author of the online Italian language textbook Amici per sempre (Intermediate Level) by the publisher Manzana Learning. She lives in Goleta with her family.
